Hosting Impacts Online Marketing Efforts
When it comes to choosing a Web hosting provider, there are many factors to be considered and it can become overwhelming. There are a multitude of hosting companies and a vast amount of hosting packages with little noticeable differentiators. Without specific knowledge of the hosting industry, many firms are uninformed about what they should look for when choosing a hosting company.
Considerations such as cost, bandwidth, and storage space are the primary factors most consider, but there are other components that are often overlooked. Making a decision about hosting, although complicated, should be done thoughtfully as it is easy to choose an unfit host without realizing the detrimental impact it can have on your online marketing efforts.
Make Your Website Work For You
PLEASE don't expect that your website will immediately bring in traffic and revenue just by setting it up and publishing it. Your website needs to be worked on continuously to grow and gain steam on the Internet.
I've gone through the trials and tribulations of website building over the years. Areas that I personally see that need to be focused on over and over again are:
Working Weekends
Last weekend I managed to not work until late Sunday when I caught up on some e-mails and accounting work. But this weekend came along and inspiration hit and before I knew it, I had worked 4 hours last night on a new concept for a client. It helps me get a jump start ahead for the week, but instead, why didn't I just grab a book and relax on the couch or watch a movie instead?

I was playing around on my new "obsession" Twitter the other day and did a search for other various design companies that may be utilizing Twitter to promote their business or provide tips, tricks and such.
I discovered Design Newz' Twitter and happily decided to follow after looking at their posts. They appear to be automated but that does not make them ANY less interesting or handy! And yes I could be entirely wrong, it is after all hand-picked info. Their claim to fame is hand picked tutorials, tips and more for those in graphic and web design.
I'm always trying to learn new things, especially in the area of graphic design. I've never been a full fledge graphic designer, more of a graphic manipulator but with sites such as this one, I'm taking more steps towards being a full fledged graphic artist/designer.
